The old school masters close their books and quietly walk away,
For something in the classroom light has altered day by day.
The chalk dust of a gentler time now settles out of sight,
And many who once loved the work no longer wish to fight.
They taught with human fallibility, yet hearts were warm and true,
Believing that a caring hand could help a child break through.
The family hearth once held the first great lessons to be learned,
Where love and mutual respect within the household brightly burned.
A mother’s word, a father’s smile, a grandparent’s old refrain,
Were threads that stitched a youngster’s soul through sunshine and through rain.
Yet voices now are asking if those bonds have grown more thin,
As larger institutions seek to shape the world within.
The children start their journeys young, with schedules neatly planned,
While homework waits each evening like another small command.
And some lament the moments lost that once belonged at home,
The laughter round the supper table, the freedom just to roam.
For no assignment on a page can quite replace the grace,
Of brothers, sisters, parents sharing love in one embrace.
No system built of rules alone, however grand its claim,
Can kindle all the tenderness from which our virtues came.
The screens that glow in every room still hold a mighty sway,
Yet many fear a deeper force is guiding minds today.
Debates on words and identities now fill the public square,
And every generation asks what truths are planted there.
Some see a tide of newer thoughts arriving swift and strong,
And wonder if the ancient tunes will soon be counted wrong.
For teachers once presented facts as best they understood,
And even in their errors there remained an aim for good.
They carried human warmth enough to soften hard debate,
Not every lesson measured by a cold bureaucratic state.
The village and the family tree once shared the growing load,
While elders passed their wisdom down along a winding road.
Now many seek to reconcile old customs with the new,
And ask which roots to cherish still, and which to journey through.
The questions rise in every age as surely as the dawn,
What must be kept with loving care, and what should be withdrawn?
The children stand before us all, inheritors of time,
Deserving more than slogans dressed in polished, perfect rhyme.
May kindness be their compass point, whatever paths appear,
And may they learn that honest hearts are far stronger than fear.
Let teachers, parents, neighbour’s too unite instead of part,
For no true education lives outside the human heart.
And may tomorrow’s sons and daughters, when their own songs are sung,
Still know that love within a home remains where life is young.
God guard the little ones ahead through every shifting tide,
And keep alive the grace that walks with wisdom at its side.

Old School Teachers in the UK are leaving their chosen profession in their DROVES!! …. WHY! – Is not the question: It’s the answer! .. Because children are being taken into the ‘care’ of Education at a very young age now … WHY! – Is so that the Indoctrination can start earlier and earlier … Parents are no longer the proud teachers of love, respect, good behaviour and discipline – Those privileges have been TAKEN AWAY! By the Nanny-State that is now fully trained in the art of ‘Woke Indoctrination’.
Even Young children of 5yrs upwards now have ‘homework’ to do each night – You know, just in case mummy, daddy, brothers & Sisters want to share some ‘bonding’ time together – a little exchange of ‘love’ – THAT! Which No School, and particularly NONE of the current crop of Woke Indoctrinated Teachers can EVER give them.
TV Is! A Problem – But The ‘Education System’ is FAR More! Dangerous! To the future of Our Society and Culture. We are already seeing School-Leavers spouting the pronouns, the gender war protectionist society rule-book, and the ‘Labour is Our only HOPE!’ waffle that They’ve taken on board as FACT!
Much like when We Boomer’s were kids – Teachers tried to teach us FACTS! – Sometimes They were wrong! – But they did so with a Good Heart – Not! A Sterile Heart .. God 😇… Help the Kids today and in the future 😵💫🥴
