There’s a creeping, creeping chill across the land,
A shadow of control that few can understand,
For something’s stirring quietly beneath the public gaze,
A question of our freedom in these uncertain days.
It’s more than just a dog, more than a lead or chain,
It’s loyalty and laughter, love that eases pain,
A heartbeat by the fireside, a faithful, watchful friend,
A bond that holds us tightly, a love that has no end.
For a dog is not a number, not a nuisance to erase,
Not a possession stripped away without a tear upon its face,
It’s the comfort of the lonely, it’s a child’s first best friend,
It’s a love that asks for nothing, with a loyalty that won’t end.
They say that dogs are trouble, they say that dogs are wrong,
But millions stand together, and millions still stand strong,
For every tail that’s wagging, for every paw that roams,
There’s a family full of love, and a dog who calls it home.
And politics is woven through the things we’re told to fear,
Through whispers dressed as wisdom that grow louder every year,
Who shapes the words of leaders? Who sets the rules we face?
Who decides which freedoms vanish, and which ones keep their place?
We’ve seen the tales from China, the reports that shook the world,
Of family dogs taken, of lives abruptly hurled,
Where fear of possible danger became a reason to destroy,
And hearts were left in pieces where there once had been such joy.
Now some look to the future with a worry in their eyes,
Could something once unthinkable be sold as compromise?
Could loving your own dog become a cause for dread,
With an official knock one morning and a warrant in its stead?
For a dog is not a number, not a nuisance to erase,
Not a possession stripped away without a tear upon its face,
It’s the comfort of the lonely, it’s a child’s first best friend,
It’s a love that asks for nothing, with a loyalty that won’t end.
And should the day arrive when the people cry, “Enough!”
When fear has turned to anger and the road ahead grows rough,
Will those in power listen, or mistake the rising sound,
For a threat to their authority that must be crushed and bound?
For never underestimate the love a nation holds,
For its dogs and its companions, more precious far than gold,
And freedoms lost by inches can be hard to win once more,
When fear becomes the weapon and suspicion guards the door.
So stand for every pawprint, for the love that sets us free,
For the right to live with kindness, for our shared humanity,
Let reason be our compass, let compassion be our guide,
And let no dog be taken just to feed a tide of fear or pride.
For a nation’s soul is measured by the mercy it can show,
By the way it guards the helpless, by the care it lets them know,
And if they ever threaten the bond that makes us whole,
We’ll raise our voices peacefully, with courage in our soul.
For a dog is not a number, not a nuisance to erase,

It’s the comfort of the lonely, it’s a child’s first best friend,
It’s a love that asks for nothing, with a loyalty that won’t end.
So hear the message ringing from the city to the glen:
Our dogs are more than property; they’re family, friends,
and then A symbol of the freedom that no fear should take away
And love must never be outlawed by the rules of any day.

It is a creep-creep-creep as far as Dogs go in the UK – It IS Political whether anyone wants to believe it or not! … We all know the demographic that HATES Dogs – They are also the demographic that TELLS Our Politicians and Royal Family what to DO and SAY at present …
During the Plandemic, China went around taking dogs from families and destroying them on the pretence that they ‘might’ be spreading covid …. Our UK UniParty are being pushed along similar lines where many folk are now ‘afraid’ to have a dog because of the ‘Social Danger’ and the fact that someone might come knocking one day with an official Seizure Order to take away what is effectively one of Your Children. …
Then We have the ‘Trigger’ for civil unrest that they hold as a Trump Card when they want to introduce ‘Martial Law’ into the political equation – What better way than to tell a Nation of Dog-Lovers that their Government are coming for their DOGS??
