Disclaimer: I know that ‘you’ already know all of the info below, but often we need a little ‘nudge’ to keep our mind focused on the freedoms being removed from us on a daily basis using the ‘slowly-slowly-catchee-monkey’ method. We are systematically being Squeeeezed OUT! of our cars/vans,trucks without seemingly any way to stop it. These Ten Con’s below are just to refresh us WHY! we should! all be standing UP to the politicians who democratically ‘work for US!’ but who appear to be acting on behalf of a much more sinister higher authority than politics.
The #Hashtag – #TheWarOnMotorists – ‘The War On Motorists’ is used to describe policies and practices perceived as hostile or burdensome to motorists/drivers, such as traffic regulations, congestion charges, the net-zero agenda and efforts to promote alternative transportation modes. Here are ten perceived drawbacks or criticisms associated with this concept:
1. **Increased Costs:**
Measures such as toll roads, congestion charges, insurance premiums, road tax (In UK) and parking fees to name just a few can significantly increase the cost of driving, making it more expensive for motorists to travel, and for those already on the breadline who are being financially ‘forced’ out of their vehicles.
2. **Traffic Congestion:**
Policies aimed at reducing driving, such as increased roadworks, lane reductions, road closures forcing drivers to travel many miles out of their way, and 20mph limits can worsen traffic congestion by limiting road capacity and increasing travel times for motorists.
3. **Limited Mobility:**
Restrictive traffic policies – 15 minute cities and infrastructure changes like cycle lanes may limit the mobility of motorists, particularly in urban areas where alternatives such as public transportation may not be viable options for all individuals.
4. **Environmental Impact:**
While some measures aimed at reducing driving ‘may’ have environmental benefits, critics argue that they can also lead to unintended consequences, such as increased emissions from idling vehicles stuck in traffic congestion.
5. **Negative Economic Impact:**
Businesses that rely on motorists, such as shops and restaurants with limited parking, suffer from reduced customer traffic due to restrictive traffic policies.
This is causing many businesses to close down, forcing motorists to travel further away or to go On-line (Which is the intended ideological outcome) sitting at home, not going out, not using the car, going stir-crazy.
6. **Erosion of Freedom:**
Critics of traffic regulations and enforcement measures may perceive them as encroachments on personal freedom and individual rights, particularly in relation to issues such as vehicle surveillance and automated enforcement technologies. They are also extremely successful ‘Money-Hoovers’ for local Council’s who are ‘incentivised’ to bring in even MORE! obstructive regulations that always ADD to the most careful motorists motoring budget.
7. **Disproportionate Impact on Low-Income Individuals:**
Policies that increase the cost of driving, such as fuel taxes, road taxes, parking, fines and congestion charges, may disproportionately affect low-income individuals who rely on cars for transportation and have limited access to alternative modes of travel.
8. **Inefficiency and Ineffectiveness:**
Some critics argue that certain traffic policies, such as congestion pricing schemes, are inefficient or ineffective at achieving their intended goals, such as reducing traffic congestion or promoting sustainable transportation modes.
But are implemented anyway on instructions from the Political Masters handing down the dictats.
9. **Negative Perception of Government:**
Perceived over-regulation and enforcement of traffic laws may rightly contribute to a negative perception of government among motorists, leading to distrust and resentment towards authorities responsible for implementing such policies. It is now so blatant, you may ask HOW! do politicians sleep at night, as their OWN family members and friends will ALSO suffer from their treachery?
10. **Disruption of Daily Life:**
Policies aimed at reducing driving, such as roadworks, road closures, re-routing or restrictions on vehicle access, can disrupt the daily routines and travel patterns of motorists, leading to frustration, anxiety, anger! and inconvenience. Making the roads less safe for ‘everyone’.
It’s important to note that perspectives on the “war on motorists” may vary widely depending on individual experiences, geographic location, and political beliefs. While some individuals may perceive traffic policies as necessary for promoting safety, reducing congestion, and mitigating environmental impact, others may view them as burdensome or unfair to motorists.
This is the polite view on #TheWarOnMotorists.
The TRUTH! Is! That there is a concerted agenda to STOP! All but the very well-off from driving anywhere. With our earning capacity diminishing daily because of the constant RISES in ‘The Cost Of Living’ – motoring will just NOT! be an option for MOST! ….
